Frank Martinoff is a professional designer, trained in Germany and based in California (USA).
As he thought that family crests, especially grand arms, should be artistically rendered rather than computerised,
he generously decided to make the demonstration with the Princes Lieven’s grand arms.
N.B. It happens that the Martinoffs are related to the Lievens at least through the v. Schillings and v. Benckendorff.
